Caroline Little becomes first women’s volleyball signee for 2016

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (March 2, 2016) – Caroline Little, a 5-foot-7-inch setter and defensive specialist from Daniel Boone High School, has signed with the Milligan College women’s volleyball team for the 2016 season. Head Coach Doneva Bays made the announcement.

Coach Bays said of Little, “We are excited to add Caroline. She is a great fit for Milligan and has a ton of upside.”

Little, a native of Gray, Tennessee, became Coach Bays’ first Daniel Boone signee. At Daniel Boone, Little was a four-year varsity player and a four-year member of the all-academic team. As a sophomore and as a junior, she was named first team all-conference, and was second team all-conference during her senior campaign. Little was also a HOSA member, and was in the National Honor Society and Beta Club at Daniel Boone.

Little has personal connections to Milligan as Justin Little, her brother, ran cross-country as a Buff, and Chelsey Spivey, her high school coach, played volleyball at Milligan and was an NAIA All-American setter who is still Milligan’s all-time assist leader.

Little is the daughter of Junior and Emilee Little.
