GREENEVILLE, TN (WJHL) – You’re never too young to get involved in politics and Brantley Foshee is living proof.
Wearing a Peyton Manning jersey, the Greeneville 3-year-old was at his grandparents’ house on Feb. 20 when they said he picked up a Donald Trump campaign sign and started saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
Watch the video of Brantley below:
Once his grandparents – Hugh and Sherry Lamb – figured out what Brantley was doing, they had him repeat the pledge so they could capture it on camera.
“You never really know what he will say next,” Brantley’s mom, Stephanie Foshee, said. “He goes to Tender Heart Day Care … in Mosheim, Tenn. and his teacher April Shipley has his class say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning and he says it on a regular basis.”
Foshee said she has since sent the video of Brantley to the Trump campaign saying she thought “Mr. Trump would get a kick out of it.”
And while Brantley may be too young to vote in this election, Foshee said her son is involved in plenty of activities like riding horses and playing baseball to keep him busy until then.
“He is very smart and he will tell you like it is,” Foshee said. “There is never a dull moment with him. He is just a joy to be around.”
