DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Over 100 people have been indicted in what’s called the largest methamphetamine investigation in the history of Middle Tennessee, and News 2 was along for the bust.
A massive raid was conducted early Monday morning as state and federal agents arrested some of those named in the indictment.
The defendants are accused of conspiracy to sell meth over 300 grams, a felony.
At this time, 75 of 100 defendants are now behind bars.
Ten guns were seized Monday as well as 928 rounds of ammo, cell phones and drugs.
That doesn’t count the prior eight month investigation that has already yielded 73 firearms, a quarter million in cash, and more than 13 pounds of meth.
“I’m just so excited we are able to make a dent on this we are working so hard. It is good to finally serve the warrants on the people that are involved,” said DTF Director Brian Beasley.
