Greene County firefighter spots fire at two story home; crews quickly respond

MOSHEIM, TN (WJHL) –  News Channel 11 was on the scene of a house fire in Greene County, TN.   The fire happened this morning on the 500-600 block of Dulaney Road in Mosheim, TN.

Crews responded after a firefighter at the Mosheim Fire Hall noticed smoke coming out of the eaves of the two-story home.  We’re told the firefighter spotted the fire out the window of the fire hall.

Officials say the fire is contained to back rooms on the upper floor of the home. Water damage is reported throughout the home.

The homeowner was not at home at the time and the cause of the fire is not known at this time.

News Channel 11 was told a Mosheim firefighter was transported to Holston Valley for a medical problem not related to the fire.
