Nicole Lovell, 13, was found dead Jan. 30, 2016, three days after she went missing.

We’ve also learned, Lovell’s preliminary cause of death is stabbing, Pettitt said.

The 19-year-old Keepers is still charged with unlawful disposal of a body and accessory after the fact, according to Pettitt.

The charges against 18-year-old David Eisenhauer remain the same. He’s charged with 1st degree murder and abduction.

Anthony Wilson, Blacksburg Police Chief, said during the news conference, “We will not let his violence define us.”

Lt. Mike Albert, Blacksburg Police, said they’ve received more than 400 tips during the course of the investigation.
