Break-in reported at home part of Johnson Co. crime scene, 4 charged

JOHNSON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested four people, following a report of a unknown vehicle at a taped off crime scene.

According to a JCSO news release, deputy’s responded the home Tuesday morning to find three suspects had broken into the home and were in the process of taking items from the home.

Two of the suspects were arrested and the third suspect ran from the scene.

The vehicle used by the suspects was also discovered to be recently stolen from Virginia.

After a two-hour search, deputies found the individual in another home.

The owner of the home was asked by deputies if anyone else was inside the home, told them no and gave them permission to search the residence.

The suspect was then located inside the home.

During the search, deputies said the owner was seen trying to get rid of narcotics he had on his person.

Brandon Charles Kestner, 20, of Abingdon, Va., was arrested and charged with attempted theft over $1,000, theft over $10,000, aggravated burglary, vandalism over $500, possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony and unlawful carrying of a weapon. He was being held on $80,000 bond.

Jonathon M. Thomas, 22, of Glade Spring, Va., was arrested and charged with attempted theft over $1,000, theft, aggravated burglary, evading arrest by foot, vandalism over $500, resisting stop, frisk, halt, arrest and search. He was being held on $55,000 bond.

Cynthia Johnson, 21, of Meadowview, Va., was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary-conspiracy, theft over $1,000- conspiracy, theft over $10,000 and vandalism over $500- conspiracy. She was being held on $50,000 bond.

Blaise Samion, 47, of Roan Creek Road, was arrested and charged with possession of hydrocodone, possession of heroin, possession of hydrodone for resale and possession of methamphetamine for resale. He was being held on $145,000 bond.

According to the release, the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.

The three suspects in possession of the stolen vehicle will also reportedly face charges in Virginia.
