Sullivan County woman starts prayer campaign for sheriff’s department

Sullivan County, TN (WJHL) – A Sullivan County woman started what she calls a necessity for the officers that serve and protect her county.

Amanda Doss has started a Facebook page and her purpose is to gain as many prayer warriors as she calls them to pray for the officers of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department.

She has made bracelets that say “prayer warrior’ and is associated with a certain employee of the sheriff’s department. When you receive your bracelet that officer will be the one that you pray for as well as the rest of the department.

“I like the fact that our law enforcement is out there risking their lives and if the smallest thing we can do is pray for them and pray for their safety and pray for their families, then I feel like we have done something that we can give back to them because they give so much to the community”, said Amanda Doss.

If you are interested in becoming a Sullivan County Sheriffs prayer warrior you can contact Doss through the Police Prayer Warriors Facebook.
