KNOXVILLE — Tennessee has landed one of the more athletic combo guards in the 2016 class with the commitment of Kwe Parker as first tweeted by Tennessee beat writer Grant Ramey of The Knoxville News Sentinel, a parter of 247Sports.
Parker didn’t just commit, though. He signed with the Vols. A Tennessee athletics official confirmed to 247Sports that the Vols have received his signed National Letter of Intent.
An initial source for the commitment was this short Twitter video from Tennessee assistant Rob Lanier
Parker, 6-2, 172-pounds out of High Point (N.C.) Wesleyan Christian High School, is a recent decommit from Rutgers. He visited Tennessee after the decommitment during the Early Signing Period.
Ranked No. 61 in the Top247 and No. 127 in the 247Sports Composite, Parker lifts Tennessee’s five-man class to No. 46 in the 247Sports Composite Recruiting Rankings and No. 8 in the SEC Rankings.
