Police arrested and charged two Knoxville teens connected to a man’s shooting death

KNOXVILLE, TN (WATE) – Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with shooting a Knoxville man to death Sunday night.

Tyshon Booker, 16, and Bradley Robinson, 17, are each charged with felony murder and aggravated robbery.

Police searched a home on Martin Mill Pike on Wednesday morning after they developed information that a suspect in the murder may be there. Officers detained Booker for questioning in the case.

Robinson was located on Cassell Valley Way around 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. He was taken into custody without incident.

The shooting happened Sunday on Linden Avenue in Knoxville. Gmetrik Caldwell, 26, was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he died a short time later, officials said.

Officers found Caldwell lying outside of a Kia Optima around 5:30 p.m.on the 2300 block of Linden Avenue. A handgun and multiple shell casings were found in and around the vehicle by officers.
