The Purple Heart Foundation

The Military Order of the Purple Heart, made up of veterans who have received the Purple Heart Medal, was congressionally chartered in 1958. The Purple Heart Foundation, the organization’s fundraising arm, supports a number of programs and services dedicated to help all veterans and their families, including emotional, physical, educational and financial support. Jeff Roy, a VietNam Veteran, former colonel with the Army Reserves and now Chairman of the Board for the Purple Heart Foundation, is with us today to discuss how the Foundation helps veterans.
