Crayola launches first adult coloring books

FORKS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WATE) – Who says coloring is just for kids?

Crayola Crayons launched five adult coloring books for $9.99 a piece. The company is already selling colored pencils and markers with fine tips that will accommodate for the intricate designs.

“Whether it’s about reliving your childhood or tapping into your peaceful place, Color Escapes offer a soothing, creative experience that’s easy to do and easy on your mind,” said Crayola.

The company partnered with artist Flora Chang to create the coloring books. They will be distributed at major retailers including Target.

The company is also offering free downloadable colored pencil tips, techniques and a color wheel by artist Claudia Nice.
