NASHVILLE, TN (AP) – HCA is giving $1 million to Tennessee State University for scholarships.
According to the school, the gift will be split up over four years in increments of $250,000.
The money will go towards students who are perusing a career in heath sciences.
TSU President Glenda Glover says scholarship support is needed as the university continues to produce well-educated and trained health care professionals.
The College of Health Sciences at TSU currently offers eleven different types of degree options.
