Southwest VA trio charged after meth, methadone, marijuana, firearm found in vehicle

WASHINGTON COUNTY, VA (WJHL) – Washington County, Va. Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested three people Monday on multiple drug charges, following a call about a domestic situation taking place at a local gas station.

According to a WCVASO news release, deputies were called to a Shell station near Exit 13 on Lee Highway, where they made contact with three people — Christine Lorie Poore, 38, Timothy Ray Little, 31, and Jonathan Wayne Stanley, 25, all of Meadowview, Va. — who said there had not an assault, but rather verbal threats.

A check of records revealed that Stanley was wanted by Smyth County on a warrant.

A K-9 on-scene alerted deputies to the suspects’ vehicle, where deputies found crystal methamphetamine, methadone pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and one firearm.

Poore reportedly gave deputies a bag with additional crystal methamphetamine, a smoking device, Klonopin pills and Suboxone pills.

Poore was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule I or II drug, possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony, possession of a schedule III drug, possession of a schedule IV drug and possession of a schedule I or II drug.

Little was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule I or II drug, possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony and possession of a schedule I or II drug.

Stanley was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule I or II drug, possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony and possession of a schedule I or II drug.

Poore, Little and Stanley were all taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon, Va., where they each are being held without bond.
