Authorities find a drug tunnel in California

BAJA, CA (CNN) – Federal agents in Mexico and the United States have discovered a tunnel in Baja, California.

Authorities say the tunnel was used to move drugs in the United States from Mexico.

In the raid, 10 tons of marijuana was confiscated, totaling close to $6 million.

Agents said they arrested 16 people in the drug bust.

The tunnel is used to move drugs from Tijuana, Mexico all the way to San Diego, California.

Officials say the underground passage is about twenty-six hundred feet, making it one of the longest ever built tunnels under the American boarder.
