Jonesborough man accused of killing family members to return to Tri-Cities soon

JONESBOROUGH, TN (WJHL) – The Washington County, TN Sheriff’s Office says a man accused of killing three of his family members in a Jonesborough home will return to the Tri-Cities next week.

Sheriff Ed Graybeal says he will send deputies to New Orleans, LA to transfer Daniel Henry back to Washington County.

Police in New Orleans arrested Henry at a hotel after a multi-state manhunt.

Investigators say he killed his parents Robert and Melody Henry as well as his aunt Barbara Hammonds.

Deputies found the victims shot to death in a home on Skyline road in Jonesborough.

More than a week ago, News Channel 11 reported that a federal transport company told Sheriff Ed Graybeal it would transfer Henry soon.

That still hasn’t happened.

Sheriff Graybeal tells us he will send detectives to get Henry Tuesday.

He’s expected to be back in Tennessee on Wednesday.
