Deputies review surveillance video, still searching for missing Kingsport man

A nearly three week search continues for an 80-year-old man with Alzheimer’s.

Eugene Marshall – known to those close to him as either “Gene” or “Papaw” – was first reported missing over two weeks ago on Sept. 17.

Wednesday night family members were trying to determine where their next search should be.

There was a glimmer of hope on Tuesday, after a tip about an alleged recent sighting of Eugene Marshall in a shopping plaza in Bristol, Virginia.

Washington County, Virginia Sheriff Fred Newman said his deputies searched throughout the area overnight Tuesday and reviewed surveillance footage on Wednesday, but so far have not found anyone resembling Marshall on video.

If you have seen Eugene Marshall you are asked to call your local police department right away.
