Bikers and Bows event set for Saturday, October 17

KINGSPORT – The Princess Delilah Foundation’s 2nd annual Bikers and Bows Bike Run and Rockin’ Roast is set for Saturday, October 17.

Delilah Watts was born April 25, 2013.  Weighing just 1 pound 3 ounces at birth, she spent much of her life at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where she came to be known as Princess Delilah.

Delilah suffered from Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and passed away May 13, 2014.

Her spirit lives on through the Princess Delilah Foundation. The Foundation works with parents of NICU babies as well as NICU and PICU nurses.

Delilah’s mother, Heather Watts and Michelle Harless joined News Channel 11’s Nate Morabito on News Channel 11 at Noon to share more about the organization and about the upcoming fundraiser.

The 2nd annual Bikers and Bows Bike Run and Rockin’ Roast is set for Saturday, October 17.  The event will be held at Ketron Elementary School in Kingsport.  The ride starts at 10:00 am and the car show and music begin at 11:00 am.
