Williamson said no one was inside the barn at the time of the fire, but said there was a man in a trailer next door who suffered blisters on his skin from the heat of the barn fire.

The man was reported to be OK, but a portion of the siding on the trailer melted due to the heat.

One the responding firefighters was sent to Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville for heat exhaustion, but was also said to be OK.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but Williamson said the fire did start in a work bench area in front of the barn.

Fire crews on scene cleared the fire at 6:15 p.m. and the fire remains under investigation.
