BLOUNTVILLE, TN (WJHL) – Community and technical colleges across Tennessee are encouraging high school seniors to sign up for the governor’s free tuition program this Saturday.
Colleges are opening their doors for area seniors to sign up for Tennessee Promise and fill out their college applications.
The program consists of free tuition to a two-year community or technical college for eligible seniors.
Nearly 16,000 people enrolled in the program this year.
High school seniors in our region can head to Northeast State Community College to sign up for Tennessee Promise.
Head to the Humanities building at the Blountville campus between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
