LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WKRN) – Lawrenceburg police arrested a man after he allegedly stalked a mother and her daughter at a Walmart.
Rodney Braly, 48, arrested on two counts of felony aggravated stalking and one count of stalking. Police say he has long history of stalking women and teen girls.
Police were investigating the report, as well as similar complaints, when News 2 aired the mother’s story Wednesday.
He is charged with following three victims, two of which were underage at 13 and 17-years-old.
He followed the mother and her 13-year-old daughter at the Walmart on North Locust Avenue and the 17-year-old at a local fast food restaurant.
“My daughter was very scared and later told me that he had been watching her the entire time that we were checking out,” the woman told News 2.
She left the store with her daughter and Braly allegedly followed them into the parking lot. He continued to follow the pair despite a good Samaratin attempting to intervene.
The concerned mother called 911 after he eventually gave up following her vehicle in the parking lot as she attempted to get away.
Police are talking to two more possible victims and are asking any others to come forward.
Braly is being held on $21,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 1 at 9 a.m.
