Missing horse “Tiny Tim” back with owner

JONESBOROUGH (WJHL) – Tiny Tim is back at home.

The Tennessee Walking Horse his owner said was stolen earlier this week mysteriously ended up back at home this afternoon.

The horse’s owner, Ronnie Francis, said his nephew found the horse outside a fenced in area behind his Jonesborough home this afternoon.

Wednesday night, he told News Channel 11 he thinks the person who took the horse got scared after reports of the horse’s theft on social media and in local news.

But it’s not all good news.

Francis said the horse is in bad shape and in need of veterinarian care.

He said Tiny Tim has burn marks on his back legs and cuts on his neck.

Francis says it looks like the horse was kept in a horse trailer.

He said wanted to thank WJHL viewers for their help in returning the animal.
