ATLANTA (AP) – A fan has been given emergency medical treatment and been taken to a hospital after falling from the upper deck into the lower-level stands at Turner Field during a game between the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves.

There was no immediate word on the man’s condition Saturday night.

There was blood left on the concrete surface around the seats after the man was put on a backboard. A group of stadium medical personnel treated the man for about 10 minutes, applying CPR. As the medical workers worked in a circle around the man, security officers cleared the area.

A police spokeswoman confirmed the fan fell.
