ALPENA TOWNSHIP, MI (WOOD) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old boy from northeastern Michigan who authorities believe was abducted by his mother.
Keegan Elijah Waterman has brown eyes and black hair, according to Amber Alert Michigan. He was last seen wearing a diaper and a pair of sandals.
Keegan was reported missing around 7:45 a.m. Monday from Alpena Township, which is on the northeastern side of the Lower Peninsula.
Michigan State Police think Keegan is with his mother Christina Waterman, 38. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and is 5-foot-7 and 195 pounds.
The pair may be headed to Tennessee in a tan 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe with Tennessee license plate U4758V.

Authorities sent an Amber Alert text notification and alarm to smartphones in West Michigan around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
