Carter Co. commission to decide fate of two EMS stations

CARTER COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Two area emergency rescue squad stations fate will be determined tonight.

Carter County commissioners will decide whether or not to fund the Hampton and Roan Mountain stations.

A week ago, the Carter County Budget Committee approved a one-time payment of $160,000 to keep the EMS stations open.

Tonight, the proposal will get approved or denied by the full commission.
