JCPD charge man in vehicle theft investigation

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – Johnson City Police Department officers arrested an Erwin man Thursday, following an investigation into a report that he took a vehicle from a Johnson City home on August 4.

According to a JCPD news release, officers arrested Matthew Clyde Robinson, 22, 730 Rockcreek Road and charged him with theft of property over $1,000.

Robinson was taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held on $10,000 bond.

He was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Friday at 1:30 p.m.
