BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) – The Bristol Mall in Bristol, Va. is set to be auctioned later this month.
The notice of sale in a legal ad said a public auction would take place Aug. 18 at 1 p.m., to sell the mall, located at 500 Gate City Highway in Bristol, Va., to the highest bidder.
According to the notice of sale, a deposit in the form of a cashier’s check of $1 million “will be required of all bidders at the time of sale, except from a bidder on behalf of the Noteholder or its subsidiary or affiliate.”
Bristol, Virginia, Vice Mayor Bill Hartley said, “it’s an opportunity for them to reinvest or potentially redevelop a prime piece of real estate.”
The property and all personal property will reportedly be sold “as is” and “with all faults.”
