Johnson City native Daniel Norris has been traded to Tigers

Johnson City native Daniel Norris is back on American soil after being traded from Toronto to the Detriot Tigers.

Norris, a 22-year-old left-hander was the main piece in the package the Tigers are getting from the Blue Jays, in return for ace David Price the former Vanderbilt star pitcher.
Norris, is listed as the 25th best prospect by MLB pipeline during their most recent rankings. The Blue Jays selected him in the second round of the 2011 draft.
The 6 foot, 2 and 195 pound Norris is 1-1 with a 4.20 era and a 1.500 whip in 10 games, including six starts, for the Blue jays in 2014 and 2015. He is 3-10 with a 4.27 era and a 1.511 whip in triple-a Buffalo this season.
