Lawmaker’s DUI charge thrown out on technicality

A drunken driving charge against a Democratic State Representative was thrown out due to a technicality.

A judge dismissed the case against Democratic Rep. Bill Beck because the police officer did not have reasonable suspicion to

pull him over.

Beck was pulled over in April after the officer says he noticed the Nashville lawmaker’s pick up truck traveling with two wheels in

the turn lane.
