GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (WISH/AP) — An anonymous donor is offering up a $1 million reward to find Dorothy’s ruby slippers that have been missing for 10 years.

Someone stole the famous shoes worn by the late Judy Garland in “The Wizard of Oz” from a museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. That’s Garland’s hometown.

Three other pairs still exist, including one on display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington.

John Kelsch, executive director of the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, says the donor is from Arizona and is a huge fan of Garland and the 1939 movie.

Kelsch said the reward money is for credible information leading to the slippers.

The 10-year anniversary of the theft is in August.

The museum says the shoes could be worth $2 to $3 million.
