Bristol man indicted on federal child porn charges

A Bristol, Tenn., man was indicted on federal child pornography charges earlier this month.

David Earl Taylor was charged with production, receipt and possession of child pornography, according to documents filed in Greeneville federal court June 16.

The complaint against Taylor alleges that he was involved in child pornography from January 2007 until January 2015.

In the complaint, a woman with whom Taylor had shared a home for nine year reported to Bristol police that she found a flash drive with images of what appeared to be child pornography.

An examination of a flash drive obtained via a search warrant revealed more than 87,000 still images and 154 videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to the federal court complaint.

Taylor was given a trial date of Sept. 8.
