Nearly $60,000 in pet medication, cash taken from Kingsport animal hospital

Kingsport Police Department officers said nearly $60,000 in pet medication and $195 in cash was taken from a local animal hospital Monday.

According to a KPD report, officers were called to Indian Ridge Animal Hospital, 1100 Indian Trail Drive, where they made contact with the owner who said someone forced entry into the business and took the cash and medications.

Twelve cartons of Frontline, 10 cartons of Advantage, two boxes of large collar Seresto, small collar Seresto, eight cartons of Heartgard, five carts of Bravecto, seven carton of Tri Heart, seven cartons of Nexgard, five cartons of Sentinel Spectrum, five cartons of Sentinel, 60 Cerenia, a carton of Denamxrim, 48-count eye drops, 14 boxes of Rimadyl, two cartons of Panacur, 12 boxes of Dermamax, 11 cartons of Comfortis, a carton of Cheristin, two cartons of Triflexis, were some of the items taken from the animal hospital.
