5 Glade Spring, VA residents to face felony drug charges

Washington County, Va. Sheriff’s Office deputies, Glade Spring Police Department officers, Bristol VA Police Department officers and DEA arrested five people following information about methamphetamine being manufactured at two locations in the Town of Glade Spring, Va.

According to a WCVASO, search warrants were obtained for the two locations late Saturday night, which resulted in 25 felony drug charges.

Cynthia Ann Chapman, 43, of Glade Spring, Va., was charged with ten counts of manufacturing methamphetamine, one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession f precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Chapman was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon, Va., where she was being held without bond.

Derrick Brandon Leslie, 32, of Glade Spring, Va., was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine. He was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon, Va., where he was being held on $2,500 bond.

Jamie K. Blevins, 35, of Glade Spring, Va., was charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, one counts of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, one counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Blevins was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon,Va., where he was being held without bond.

Michael A. Wyatt, 33, of Glade Spring, Va., was charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, one count of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, one count of possession of methamphetamine and possession to precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Wyatt was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon, Va., where he was being held on $5,000 bond.

Thomas Allen Warner, 32, of Glade Spring, Va., was charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, one count of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, one count of possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Warner was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon, Va., where he was being held on $5,000 bond.
