Kingsport Police Department officers are currently searching for a person who reportedly rammed a metal storage locker and took numerous items, including assorted motor oils, at a local business on March 28.

According to a KPD news release, officers responded to Quality Oil, 841 E. Stone Drive in Kingsport, in reference to a burglary that had happened the night before.

Following an investigation, it was revealed that someone had repeatedly rammed and broke into the storage locker in the parking lot taking assorted motor oils, brake and power steering fluids, wiper blades and gas cans.

The items taken from the locker were valued around $500 and the locker itself was valued at $500 and was damaged.

Surveillance footage from the scene shows a suspect driving a gold colors compact 4-door sport utility vehicle believed to be a Honda CRV.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or may have any information regarding the burglary is asked to call KPD Criminal Investigations Division at 229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 246-9111.
