Kingsport Police Department officers are currently for a man they said burglarized Hunter Wright Stadium, 800 Granby Road, over the weekend.

According to a KPD news release, officers responded to the stadium in reference to the burglary report, after workers arrived Monday morning and found a hole had been cut in a chain link fence behind one of the advertising banners to gain access to the ballpark.

The suspect also took an Exmark mower, two Stihl backpack blowers and an Echo weedeater, after breaking into two equipment sheds.

Surveillance footage showed the burglary suspect at the stadium on Saturday, May 30 around 11:45 p.m.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call detectives at KPD Criminal Investigations Division at 229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 246-9111.
