NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans got back on the field for organized team activities Monday, following a weekend off for the club, but for three rookies, this past weekend was eventful anyway.
The Panini rookie card photo shoot was over the weekend, and new Titans, Marcus Mariota, Dorial Green-Beckham and David Cobb were included in the fun.
Making it to the big time is the ultimate goal of these athletes, but there’s just something special about seeing yourself on that first rookie card.
“Getting my first Panini NFL trading card has been such a blessing. It’s been an awesome experience here today, and it’s been a lot of fun to see all these,” said Rookie Quarterback Mariota. “Being here with DGB and David Cobb has really been such an awesome experience. We get to spend time together away from the facility and build relationships that hopefully will last in the future.”
Monday was also a good day for Green-Beckham. The wide receiver agreed to a contract with the team.
Tennessee has signed seven of its nine picks. Mariota is still unsigned.
