Blue Jays pitcher Daniel Norris didn’t surrender any earned runs but lasted just three innings in a no-decision Thursday, giving up four hits and two walks while striking out one in his team’s 5-1 win over the Indians.
Norris was able to battle out of trouble in each of his three innings of work, leaving a total of six guys on base and five in scoring position. However, he wasn’t sent back out for the fourth inning having already accumulated 78 pitches.
Norris owns a 3.86 ERA and 18:12 K:BB ratio in 23 1/3 innings. He’s slated to face the Yankees Tuesday.
