The City of Johnson City honored the fight against breast cancer Thursday with a proclamation marking October as Breast Cancer awareness month for the city.

Vice Mayor Clayton Stout presented the proclamation to Daytime Tri-Cities’ own Amy Lynn, who was representing Making Strides of Tri-Cities.

The proclamation also recognized the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, which will bring survivors, their families, and other supporters together on Sunday October 26th.
