The 10th annual Mountain City Sunflower Festival takes place Saturday in downtown Mountain City.
It’s a day of music, entertainment, arts and crafts and events for the kids.
All the fun begins at 9:00 am on Main and Church Streets.

9:00am – 9:30am – “Steve Dunfee” -Folk, Classic Country & Soft Rock
9:30am – 10:00am- Young at Heart Square Dancers
10:00am- 10:30am – “Steve Dunfee” -Folk, Classic Country & Soft Rock
10:30am – 11:00am – Christy Moretz’ “Star Dancers”
11:00am – 1:00pm – “MIB Soul-Man Band”- Motown Sounds
1:00pm-3:00pm -“Creek Junctions Bluegrass Band” (Eclectic Group of Seasoned Bluegrass musicians who have played or toured with the likes of Alison Krauss, Wayne Henderson, Doc Watson, The Kruger Brothers, The McPeak Brothers, Southern Rail, etc.
3:00pm – 4:00pm – “Crossroads Old-Time String Band” – Mountain Bluegrass

· SUNFLOWER JUDGING CONTEST at 12 noon in front of the Stage, with prizes for ‘The Prettiest’ and ‘The Largest’ Sunflowers!
