The Official Outdoor Drama of the State of Tennessee, “Liberty! The Saga of Sycamore Shoals” kicks off its second week of performances tomorrow night (Thursday, July 17, 2014).
The drama depicts the settlement of Northeast Tennessee in the 18th century and is performed at Sycamore Shoals State Historic area.
More than 100 volunteers have rehearsed since January to bring history to life in Elizabethton.
The performances begin at 7:30 each evening (Thursday, Friday & Saturday). Ticket sales begin at 6:00.
Thursday, July 17 is Veterans Night – veterans and one guest get free admission.
Interpretation for the hearing impaired will be offered at the July 19 performance.
On Friday and Saturday nights, July 18 & 19 and 25 & 26, a dinner theater will be offered, by reservation only. To make reservations, call 423.543.5808.
