Tri-Cities residents will have plenty to do for the next few days, as Kingsport kicks off its 34th annual Fun Fest.

Here’s a list of a few things to check out at this year’s Fun Fest:

Friday:

– Mardi Gras- 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.- on Broad Street in downtown Kingsport

– Fun Fest Parade- 6:30 p.m.- Starts at Clinchfield and West Center streets in downtown Kingsport

– BROAD STREET BOOGIE featuring Members Only Tribute Band- 8 p.m.- on Broad Street in downtown Kingsport

Saturday:

– Kids Fishing Derby- 8 a.m.-10 a.m.- Warriors’ Path State Park at Duck Island

– Crazy Cardboard Boat Race- 9 a.m.-noon- Kingsport Aquatic Center- $10 to participate

– Kids Fest- 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.- Kingsport Town Center

– Little 8s and Special 8s Youth Runs Presented by McDonald’s of Greater Kingsport- 6- 8 p.m.- J. Fred Johnson Stadium

– Neil’s Walk- 8:58 p.m.- J. Fred Johnson Stadium

– Crazy 8’s 8K Run- 9:58 p.m.- J. Fred Johnson Stadium

Sunday:

– Farm Fest- 2-5 p.m.- Exchange Place Living History Farm

– Croquet at Allandale- 1-5 p.m.- Allandale Mansion West Barn

– Dinner at the Kingsport Farmer’s Market- 5:30-7:30 p.m.- Kingsport Farmer’s Market- $21 per person to attend

Monday, July 14:

– Senior Fest- 9-11:30 a.m.- Kingsport Senior Center

– Kids Central presented by Niswonger Children’s Hospital- 10 a.m.-3 p.m.- Andrew Johnson Elementary School

– Pet Dog Show- 5:30-8:30 p.m.- Allandale Mansion- $1 per person to attend

– “A Patriotic Tribute” by Lamplight Theatre- 7-9 p.m.- Lamplight Theatre, 140 Broad St.- $7 per person to attend

Tuesday, July 15:

– Pool Party at the Kingsport Aquatic Center- 4:30-8 p.m.- Kingsport Aquatic Center- $3 per person, $2 per person wearing Fun Fest T-shirt. Tickets sold on-site.

– Wolf Run 7 Mile Trail Race- 6:30 p.m.- Bays Mountain Park- $30 to participate

– Tennessee Army National Guard Fun Festacular- 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.- At Kids Central

Wednesday, July 16:

– The Taste- 4-9 p.m.- Memorial Park

– Kingsport Idol 2014 Finale- 6:30 p.m.- Fort Henry Drive at Memorial Park

– Fun Fest at the Ball Park- 7 p.m.- Hunter Wright Stadium, 800 Granby Road- $3 per person

– Giant Screen Outdoor Movie- 7 p.m. (movie begins at dusk) – Fort Henry Drive at Memorial Park

Thursday, July 17:

– The Taste- 4- 9 p.m.- Memorial Park

– Pickin in the Park- 5 p.m.- Memorial Park

– MercyMe with opening act Tenth Avenue North- Sunset Concert Series- 7 p.m.- Brock Services Stage at J. Fred Johnson Stadium

Friday, July 18:

– The Taste- 4-9 p.m.- Memorial Park

– Pickin in the Park- 5 p.m.- Memorial Park

– Martina McBride with opening act Michael Ray- Sunset Concert Series- 7 p.m.- Brock Services Stage at J. Fred Johnson Stadium

– Hot Air Balloon Glow- 8 p.m.- Fort Henry Drive

Saturday, July 19:

– Breakfast with the Balloons- 6- 9 a.m.- Memorial Park

– Hot Air Balloon Rally- 6:30 a.m.- Fort Henry Drive

– White Lightning Ride- 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.- YMCA/Kingsport Aquatic Center- $40 to participate

– Cornhole Tournament- 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.- Indian Highland Park- $30 per team- Registration closes on July 14

– Car Show- 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.- Main Street in downtown Kingsport

– The Taste- 3- 9 p.m.- Memorial Park

– Pickin in the Park- 5 p.m.- Memorial Park

– Train with opening act The Dirty Guv’nahs- Sunset Concert Series- 6:30 p.m.- Brock Services Stage at J. Fred Johnson Stadium

– Eastman Fireworks Spectacular- 10 p.m. (following the Train concert)
