Wow, what a difference a couple of days make! I think it was Sunday when we saw folks swimming, wearing shorts and loving the hot weather. Now, it’s cold and yucky. Some say it’s snowing. I prefer the term ‘sleet’. Not quite snow. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself. Anyway, here are some of the stories we’re working on today..
Today, Virginia Intermont College administrators announced the merger between VI and Webber International University will not go through. We find out if there is any hope left for the 130 year-old private university.
UT men’s basketball coach Cuonzo Martin anounced he is leaving the Big Orange Nation and has accepted a job with the California Golden Bears. Find out what led him to leave. Was the petition by Vols fans to fire him a factor?
