Good afternoon!

This is Sara Diamond in the News Channel 11 newsroom.  Hope you enjoyed the warm sunshine!  Chief Meteorologist Mark Reynolds says we broke a record temperature today.  He'll let us know how long the warm weather will stick around.  Hey, it's the Tri-Cities, so the weather's got to change a few more times before spring!

Also today a huge animal rescue in Hawkins County.  The Humane Society found more than 65 animals inside a person's home.  We'll let you know how the animals and the homeowner are doing.

And, the wife of Greene County Clerk David Thompson files papers to run for her husband's job.  This, as David Thompson is under investigation for allegations he used his position of power to gain sexual favors from employees.
