A Kingsport man has been banned from the Justice Center for urinating in the lobby. Kingsport Police say 72 year old Harry Bowyer urinated in the lobby of the Justice Center on Shelby Street three times in the last week. When confronted by the receptionist, he got angry and yelled at her. Officers also say the entire incident was caught on tape. Kingsport police say Bowyer is charged with Disorderly Conduct and Vandalism.
Kingsport police arrested Danny Collier in the parking lot of Seavers Doughnuts on East Center Street. Police say they originally were checking Collier out for a revoked license, but after they checked his identification, they found he was wanted in Greene County. Collier will be extradited to Greene County on charges of Domestic Assault, Driving without a License and Bad Checks.
Kingsport Police were tipped off that Johnny Barbour and Angel Sutherland were in possession of oxycontin and marijuana and would be traveling from Johnson City to Kingsport. According to the police report, an officer stopped the vehicle and said he could smell marijuana. Barbour got out of the car and told the officer he had marijuana in his front pocket. According to police reports, the officer arrested and handcuffed him. Police say Barbour started to struggle, but the officer managed to subdue him. The police report says Angel Sutherland was taken in for questioning where she admitted to driving Barbour to a pharmacy where he bought pills. Sutherland says Barbour gave her some of the marijuana and $500 for the pills. The officer says he went back to the scene and found a small bag with 42 white pills believed to be oxycontin.
Kingsport police were called to a room at Indian Path Hospital around seven Thursday night. According to the police report, an officer found Brittany Sutherland yelling and cursing into a phone. The officer says he asked her to step outside, she told him she was on prescription medicine and bath salts and could not keep her mouth shut because of the medicine. Sutherland was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Kingsport police were called to a home on Sullivan Street. Officers say the woman went to her home to talk to William Hudson and call her children. The woman says Hudson got upset and started calling her names and cursing at her. According to the police report, Hudson got out of her vehicle and chased the woman and pulled her down, causing her to hit her face on the car. Officers say the woman refused medical treatment. Hudson is charged with Domestic Assault.
