Man shot in Johnson City now faces criminal charges

A Elizabethton man police say suffered two gunshot wounds earlier this month at an apartment in Johnson City, now faces criminal charges himself.

Johnson City Police arrested Keith Crawford, 22, yesterday and charged him with aggravated domestic assault. Police say the domestic assault occurred April 14 between Crawford and his 18-year-old girlfriend at her apartment. Early that morning, police believe Jamarcus Jackson, 20, shot Crawford twice at that apartment. According to officers, an arrest warrant is out for Jackson, charging him with attempted first-degree murder.

If you have any idea where Jackson may be, call the Johnson City Police Department.
